Importance of Deadlines
Meeting deadlines is a vital necessity in order to achieve in business and education. If you do not complete assignments in school not only will your grades suffer, but your work ethic will as well. The first step to succeeding in life is through school and education, so by not completing assignments you are risking your future! Your boss gives you a presentation to work on for the next staff meeting; instead of completing it and being prepared you decide its not more important than hanging out with you buddies, next week roles around and you are not prepared. Not only do you look silly, but your boss is mad because you did not do what he told you to do. Having a strong work ethic is what will lead you to the top in your career and education. Your boss has his own family and career to worry about where he does not have the time or care to babysit you and make sure you are doing what you are expected to do. Chances are you will just simply let go and replaced with someone who completes tasks on time. We are not in kindergarten anymore where our homework is taking naps; It is time to grow up and be responsible! Others depend on you!

Accepting Criticism
This Wiki project has a big to do list and at times may be over whelming. So maybe while your working vigorously on your Wiki, you forget an important aspect that could really help enhance your page or you forgot an important citation; People can write to you giving you a heads up or a little tip that they did that really helped them with their page. The important thing to remember is that their criticism is to help you! They really are not giving you criticism to make you feel bad about your work, but rather they are trying to improve your Wiki for the benefit for you and whoever views that as well.
If you are the person giving criticism there are a few things you should remember: First of all, you are trying to be helpful, not mean. Second, do not just give useless advice because you have to comment (make sure your giving criticism that they really could use.) Third, have experience with the advice you are giving! Finally, make sure you advice actually works. Do not just give out the name to some website that you heard is helpful and actually gives that persons computer a virus.

Using Wiki to Communicate
There are multiple ways to use wiki to communicate. You can share, collaborate, and edit all on the same project! Whether you right next to one another or separated by oceans, Wiki allows you to communicate it all. The first step is to add a page where you and the other members you send requests to will be able to add or take away from the information on your page you have set off. In a way wiki is like a Microsoft Word Document: You can edit the information however you want and save it as you go along. The only difference however is that its shared with other members as well. So in a way it is like a shared Google document! The only bad thing about Wiki through communication however though is that you cannot edit information from multiple places at once. When one person saves the information whatever somebody was working on at that time is automatically removed. Although this is only one down fall of Wiki for communication, it can become a huge problem when working on a major part of information. Do not let that stop you from using such a great communication tool to your advantage though!

Communication Tools
How can I use communication tools to present Chatroulette to my classmates? Well, there are a lot of ways I could show them through the tools we have access to. For one I could simply log on to Chatroulette and explore how it works, but that honestly wouldn't be appropriate most likely. So that leaves Youtube tutorial maybe? I haven't checked, but I'm sure there are plenty of examples available. The way I used communication tools to present to the class, and probably the safest way to was by power point. I have control of what information is allowed to be presented which eliminates all worries of something inappropriate or off topic to show up. I was able to organize the information and rather then wasting time searching the web for my information, it was simply a click away on to the next slide. Of course there are many more ways I could have presented the information to class through communication tools: Skype, Google Presentations, Diigo, even Aim. So although i prefered using Power Point, there are in fact multiple types of communication tools that can be used to present any communication tool, not just Chatroulette, to my classmates and maybe even my teachers interested in the information.

Diigo
Diigo allows you to highlight specific information in any web text that you find essential to your topic and/or studies. You can then bookmark the highlighted text and come back to that information in a later time when doing a paper or studying. That tool from diigo is a HUGE benefit to all students for high school and college.
Another great study tool that is allowed through diigo is notes. You can keep notes on texts that you are using for studying or research from diigo. This will be extremely helpful if you are just getting ideas for a paper and you want to go back and get your ideas from that webcite that you had previously.

Communicating Digitally
Communicating digitally has really developed over the years; Now there are text messaging, skype, second life, even face-time on Iphone 4's! With all these new tools to use communicating has become easier and cooler. Country borders are no longer a problem to communicate with loved ones or friends; you can just open your laptop and their right in front of you!
I think that this tool is a great opportunity for everyone. In business meeting can be held on skype, a parent on a trip can see their kids or give them a call, and so many more examples! I use communicating digitally every single day. These tools, i believe, will really lead the world into a great era.
